The Moon's orbit is an ellipse. The far end of that ellipse is called the apogee. It circles the zodiac about every 8 years and 10 months. This calculator uses the mean apogee. That is the smoothed average position and the standard for Lilith sign work. If your result lands within a few degrees of a sign boundary, read both signs. The true apogee wobbles and can cross the line.
